Celaya Tequila was created by Matt and Ryan Kalil, brothers who forged successful careers first as elite pro football players and now as entrepreneurs. They are the living embodiment of their family motto, “Anything worth doing is worth doing well.”

The Company was born out of a passion for family and tequila and originally created as a gift for close personal friends to commemorate the Celaya family’s core value of commitment in all pursuits.

The Kalil brothers revived the tequila distilling legacy of their great great grandfather, Jose Celaya, who crafted his own homemade tequila on his Sonora, Mexico ranch in the late 1800s.

Celaya is an additive free tequila, meticulously formulated over years of trial and error and crafted using both highland and lowland tequilas to achieve its flavor.

Today, the Company is a fast-growing premium brand and is the official tequila of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Partner of USC Athletics.

Wildridge Partners led a growth capital financing which resulted in Celaya partnering with a leading alcohol and beverage investment firm.
